Sports Watching Project
Project overview
Being home to four professional sports teams and having hosted numerous international sporting events, Yokohama is one of the most prestigious sports-loving cities in Japan.
In the Sports Watching project, children are invited to watch top-notch sporting events such as games of the Yokohama Nettou Club professional teams and international competitions. Through these events, kids experience touching moments of sports and the exciting atmosphere of stadiums, which helps them develop a sports-loving spirit.
Sports watching seasons
- Yokohama DeNA BayStars (April - September, March)
- Yokohama F-Marinos (April - November, March)
- Yokohama FC (April - November, March)
- Yokohama B-Corsairs (April - May, October -March)
- World Triathlon Yokohama (May)
- Other events include ice skating races and grand sumo tournaments.
